Time To Up-Chuck

Okay so throughout my entire life I have heard every “What’s Up-Chuck” joke you could possibly think of.  And just when you think it is going to slow down because you are now 23 with a wife and a kid God appoints me to Jr. High Ministry and the Up-Chucks keep coming. (although mainly from the Jr. High leaders and certain staff members)  So, I decided to embrace it and decided it would be a cool idea to throw-up on my blog. (pun intended)  You see, every now and then when I get a little behind on blogging, like I have over the past couple months, I will sit down and come up with a bunch of randomness that has been going on surrounding my life, my family and my ministry.  So try and keep up.

·         September 1, 2008 we kicked off our Jr. High Wednesday Night Experience.

·         I decided to join 3 different fantasy football leagues (Rachel is Uber-excited)

·         The Braves continued to play terrible baseball and finished the season under .500, again, and in 4th place in the NL East…..INCREDIBLE!

·         I began my 6thyear of College for my B.S. (Bacholer of Science) Degree in Youth Ministry.

·         My daughter is basically a giant already.

·         Our Jr. High has seen God do some awesome things in just a month.

·         My check engine light has been on for about 26 days now (I blame it on Fanny and Freddie)

·         I have lost no money in the stock market.

·         The Cowboys started great, now I am a tad bit nervous.

·         We had close to 30 people in our living room a few weeks ago for small group…it was awesome.

·         Boomsday.

·         I finally got a new drivers licence after Joey and D.Z.  basically told me I was breaking the law hardcore (in my defense DMV people in Knox County = an IQ of a cat turd, God love their hearts)

·         4 Jr. High Students gave their lives to Christ this month.

·         Its Chilli time in Tennessee.

·         Kennedy and mine’s first trip to Disney World.

·         I am in first place in 2 of my fantasy football leagues.

·         Joey slapped me bare chested on film.

·         I slapped Joey bare chested on film.

·         There is some kind of political race going on.

·         I got new shoes (they are bright).

·         My credit is still good.

·         I almost caught a big fish, then the line broke, but Ben Fair saw it so it counts.

·         We just finished our series on judging others called Lookin’ Boy inspired by the Holy Spirit, James 2 and the song Lookin’ Boy.

·         Kennedy has bird hair, and it rocks.

·         Milk costs $6.

·         My wife and the other Jr. High female leaders had a sweet sleepover at our house last week.

·         The leaves are changing.

·         I need Rachel to pluck my uni-brow.

·         We did a 21 day fast with the Jr. and Sr. High, great experience.

·         I am a offically a Florida Gator fan.

·         Kennedy now wears cloth diapers. (Saving some Greenbacks with the Brownbacks/Skidmarked)

·         I don’t know what I am saying anymore.

·         Is anyone still reading?

·         Did anyone start reading?

·         We almost have a Jr. High band.

·         Sometimes it pays to have little money, God will provide, and He does, always.

·         My i-pod took a huge dump on me.

·         Tina Fey is identical to Sarah Palin.

·         I got a new one, it works. (i-pod, not Sarah Palin look-a-like)

·         I will finally be done with school in December. (come to graduation in May!)

·         The new church is SUPER.

·         I love t-shirt material sheets.

·         Its almost time for Christmas music.

·         Pray for our church.

·         Pray for our country.

·         Pray for our families.

·         Pray for faith.

·         Just pray, it’s good for you.

Love you all.  I am off to bed, with my snoozing wife and t-shirt material sheets.  Spend time with your family.  Spend time with God, go to the beautiful mountains, and be at church this weekend.

I’m Outie.
